Priest

“Faith carried into battle, or faith that is the battle.”

Description

What the class is, and what it becomes as the levels pass.

The Priest channels the strength of their faith into their missions — through steel when the moment demands it, through prayer when it does not. Some carry the fight to the enemies of their creed, some carry nothing but a symbol and the deepest of their god's teachings, and some carry only a willing ear and a road ahead of them. All of them answer to something greater than themselves.

SpellcastingSpellcastingYou cast spells using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability. You are a Half caster: you have Spell Slots as given by the Half Caster Slots rule for your level. Your archetype, at level 3, may lower this to the Third Caster Slots rule or raise it to the Full Caster Slots rule instead.Prepared SpellsPrepared SpellsEach time you finish a Long Rest, you prepare a number of spells from the priest's entire spell list equal to your Wisdom modifier plus your priest level (minimum 1); these are the only spells you can cast until your next Long Rest, subject to your available Spell Slots.
