Hornets move by flying 20 meters per movement action, which makes fleeing them much more difficult.

The swarm can cover its prey after succeeding on a melee attack against its target. The target is then distracted, off-balance, and beset by countless bites. The swarm automatically deals 1d6 damage per round to it, and the victim is Weakened until the swarm is defeated.

The swarm is made up of a great many small targets, and conventional attacks deal no damage to it at all. Only area attacks deal normal damage. Jumping into water remains a classic but effective way to escape the swarm.
