The swarm is a fearsome opponent, but fortunately it only moves 15 meters per movement action.

The swarm can cover its prey after succeeding on a melee attack against its target. The target is then distracted, off-balance, and beset by countless bites. The swarm automatically deals 1d6 damage per round to it, and the victim is Weakened until the swarm is defeated.

Each round it is injured by the swarm, the victim must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution check or fall unconscious while the swarm continues to devour it.

The swarm is made up of a great many targets, and conventional attacks deal little damage to it. Area attacks deal normal damage, but all damage from melee or ranged weapons deals only a single point of damage per successful attack.
